As a Freedom of Information request revealed that the Tube averages 170 delays per year due to overcrowding, Caroline Pidgeon told the LondonLovesBusiness website:
“While there has been some reduction in Tube delays in the last few years it is a real concern that delays caused by overcrowded trains remain so high, especially on the Jubilee Line.
“These figures provide a powerful case for further increasing the frequency of trains on this line in particular.”
