Caroline Pidgeon AM joined Sutton and Cheam MP Paul Burstow on Thursday 19th February to spend a morning talking to local businesses and Colin Newton, the Chair of the local Business Improvement District for the business park.
The Business Park has grown significantly in recent years and there are very few empty units on the estate. However, the infrastructure does need improving given the high number of articulated lorries now servicing the park and other vehicles in the area.
"It was really useful to meet local businesses and to talk to Colin and others who run the BID about improvements that could really help the local estate. I was able to suggest a round of European funding that may be suitable for some of the investment that is needed", commented Caroline.
