Caroline Pidgeon has joined Liberal Democrat councillors in Southwark in campaigning against the council's plans to destroy the woods in Camberwell Old and New Cemeteries.
The Save Southwark Woods campaign has presented a petition to the council calling for the 100 acres of woods to be designated a Memorial Park Nature Reserve, with respect for the dead and woodlands for the living.
