Caroline Pidgeon joined local Lib Dem London Assembly candidate for Lambeth and Southwark Michael Bukola and Councillor Rosie Shimell out in East Dulwich. They were out speaking to local residents and campaigning on half price fares before half seven, building more homes and affordable wrap-around childcare.
Women in London are 10% less likely to return to work after having children than their counterparts in the rest of the UK. Caroline said:
“The hours available from most childcare providers don’t allow you to work the hours you need. I want to fund more wrap-around childcare with earlier starts and later finishing, and also train more child-minders.”
