Caroline Pidgeon AM was joined by Deputy Leader of the Liberal Democrats Simon Hughes MP on Monday 9th May on a visit to see the home and factory for Brompton folding bicycles which are made in Hounslow, just near Kew Bridge.
"It was fascinating to hear how the company has grown and now employs around 160 people. With cycling on the increase and more people wanting quality folding bicycles, it is no wonder that the factory needs to move. I hope that the company is able to expand and to keep employing so many people in a wide range of engineering and other bicycle making roles" commented Caroline.
