Out and about in Bromley

Caroline joined Bromley Liberal Democrats campaigning to save our community policing on 28th November in Orpington.

The team handed out campaign newspapers and talked to local shoppers about the threat to PCSOs and our Safer Neighbourhood Teams. Caroline and the team also collected signatures on their petition to save our local policing teams.

“It was great to speak to so many local residents and even some local PCSOs about the need for local visible policing and the threat from cuts by Government and the Mayor to funding” said Caroline.

Since the visit, Caroline has had confirmation directly from the Commissioner of the Metropolitan Police, Sir Bernard Hogan-Howe, that PCSOs will be saved. A campaign victory for Londoners.
