Marking Stephen Lawrence Day on 22 April, Caroline Pidgeon emphasised how we must continue work to tackle racism, prejudice and intolerance in all of its forms.
Caroline said:
Stephen Lawrence Day is an opportunity to reflect and consider how much more still needs to be done to achieve racial equality across our society and, importantly, what we can do to achieve this.
Stephen's memory and legacy will continue to promote equality, diversity and inclusion but we must all take responsibility for creating a more inclusive society and refuse to tolerate racism or prejudice and work to create a more inclusive and fair society.
