Caroline Pidgeon has welcomed Transport for London's announcement that Alperton station is being considered for work to create step-free access. Caroline has long campaigned alongside local Lib Dem councillor Anton Georgiou to get progress on this issue.
Caroline said:
“After years of campaigning on this issue I’m happy to finally see some movement. However, we need to see the money allocated to fund these improvements to ensure that these plans do not just stay on the drawing board for a long period of time.”
