HS2 debacle ruins the UK's reputation on infrastructure

On ITV London's Late Debate show, Caroline sharply criticised the Conservative government's decision to scrap most of the HS2 project.

Caroline said:

The decision by the Conservatives to dismember HS2 has left the UK's reputation on large infrastructure at rock bottom. The UK used to be a global leader when it comes to rail, now because of Conservative mismanagement, we can't even build 330 miles of new track.
