Big Lib Dem team meets Bromley residents

Caroline joined Bromley Council Group Leader Cllr Tom Papworth, Assembly Candidate Sam Webber and a huge team of local Liberal Democrats, along with Sarah Ludford MEP out and about in Bromley on Sunday.

Whilst it rained non stop, the team met lots of local residents and had a super response on the doorstep!

Key concerns in Hanwell

Caroline joined local Lib Dem Cllr Nigel Bakhai to look at problems with Hanwell Station next to his ward in Ealing.

The station has no services on Sundays, has no step free access like so many and it is not clear what improvements will be made when Crossrail comes along. Furthermore, the entrance to the station from Station Approach is closed off making it inconvenient for residents in Cllr Bakhai’s ward to access the station.

Caroline also looked at the dangerous junction with Church Road, which she has already raised with TfL and will do again. Pedestrians have no safe crossing point at this junction.

Campaigning at Ealing Broadway

Caroline joined local Cllr Harvey Rose and a huge team of Lib Dem activists including Tony Miller on a walkabout in Ealing Broadway on Monday.

The team had a wonderful reception from local residents and passengers.

Addressing North Richmond speeding traffic concerns

Caroline joined local by-election candidate Jane Dodds, London Assembly candidate Munira Wilson, Robin Meltzer and other local Lib Dems in North Richmond meeting residents and traders concerned about speeding traffic on Lower Mortlake Road.

"There are some serious issues here and just a few small changes could make this road much safer for pedestrians, as well as other road users", commented Caroline.
