Flying the flag in Tooting

Caroline Pidgeon AM joined Lib Dem candidate in the Tooting Parliamentary By-election Alex Glassbrook for some campaigning in Tooting Broadway with local members. The team spoke to many local people about the by-election, but also used the opportunity to discuss the European referendum and the importance of voting to Remain in the EU.

Helping Lib Dems win in Surrey Docks, Southwark

Caroline Pidgeon AM has been working hard with Surrey Docks ward Lib Dems for many years. Fighting for improved broadband speeds, for improved bus services and for a pedestrian and cycle bridge from Rotherhithe to Canary Wharf.

Caroline was delighted to help campaign and support Cllr Dan Whitehead, who was successfully elected as the new ward councillor on Thursday 9th June with over 50% of the vote.

Getting the Vote Out in Southwark

Caroline is travelling across London on this sunny polling day getting the vote out for the London Lib Dems. Here she is in Southwark with some of the Lib Dem team, including Southwark councillors David Noakes and Adele Morris. They are getting a lovely response from local residents on the doorstep.

Getting the Vote Out in Sutton

Here is Caroline getting the vote out in Sutton on polling day with Lib Dem London Assembly Candidate for the Croydon and Sutton constituency Amna Ahmed and local councillors Arthur Hookway and Paul Wingfield.

Getting the Vote Out in Richmond

Here is Caroline getting the vote out in the sunshine in Richmond. She is with Lib Dem London Assembly candidate Merlene Emerson and some members of the Richmond Lib Dem Campaign team. The response on the doorstep from local residents in Richmond is very positive.

Speaking to local residents in Ealing

Caroline went out campaigning in Ealing with the local Lib Dem team, including Councillor Jon Ball, Lib Dem London Assembly candidate Adrian Hyyrylainen-Trett and Lib Dem campaigner Chris Maines.

They spoke to many local residents about the London Assembly and Mayoral elections. Caroline’s plans to make childcare more flexible and accessible and to have half price fares before half past seven were popular on the door step.

Campaigning in Camden

Caroline went out campaigning in Camden with the Lib Dem London Assembly candidate for the Barnet and Croydon constituency Zack Polanski. They visited the Swiss Cottage and Finchley Road areas to speak to local residents about the Mayoral and London Assembly elections. They received a warm reception on the doorstep.

Knocking on Doors in Haringey on Eve of Poll

Caroline joined the Haringey Lib Dems out on the door steps on eve of poll. They were joined by Lib Dem London Assembly candidate Dawn Barnes and Baroness (Claire) Tyler of Enfield.

They had a great response from local residents who were very keen to talk about the Mayoral and London Assembly elections, and there was a lot of support for Caroline’s Half Price Fares before Half Past Seven campaign.

Talking to local residents in Bermondsey

Caroline was out in Bermondsey with local Lib Dem Councillors Damian O’Brien, Eliza Mann and Anood Al-Samerai. They went knocking on doors to speak to local residents about the Mayoral and London Assembly elections. They received a wonderful response on the doors, with many lovely comments about the hard work the Lib Dems do in the local area.
